What were they wearing? Women In Film's 2008 Crystal Lucy Awards

An array of A-lister celebs took the night off to attend the Women In Film's 2008 Crystal Lucy Awards held at the Beverly Hilton on Wednesday in Beverly Hills, California. The Crystal+Lucy Awards honor women in film and television whose contribution to their individual fields of expertise warrants special recognition. This year actresses like Salma Hayek and Ginnifer Goodwin were among the women in front of the camera who were recognized for both the accomplishments to date and their promise for the future.

Nicole Richie donned a floor sweeping vintage Missoni floral gown. I'm still undecided on the overall look =/ However, her hair and makeup is gorgeous.



Salma Hayek looked professionally hot in a Alexander McQueen suit from the designer's Spring 2008 collection.



Jada Pinkett Smith looked like the ultimate glamour queen in her strapless gunmetal Monique Lhuillier dress.



Sigh* The lovely Eva Mendes, surprising is not wearing Calvin Klein, the actress opted for a John Galliano gown. The beautiful embellishment on Eva's gown was inspired by a piece from Galliano's Fall 2008 collection.



Ginnifer Goodwin looks like a sweetheart in this light pink Max Mara dress. The black straps were a nice touch.



The beautiful Debra Messing left my eyes popping in this stunning Naeem Khan embroidered gown. Everything about this looks screams perfection. In my own opinion, she looks better than the runway model.



Meg Ryan played it safe and still looked lovely in this black Prada frock.



Jennifer Morrison opted for a strapless two toned dress. The feathered detail is interesting, but the actress doesn't stand out for me.



Rumer Willis strikes a uncomfortable looking pose in a strapless red dress.



House actress Lisa Edelstein lookes asdorable in this white dress. I probably would have picked a brighter pair of heels, just to add something to her outfit.

The auction was hosted by the lovely Rachel Bilson, sporting a figure hugging ultra mini dress. The party was held by the designer of Herve Leger, Max Azria.

Charlize Theron continues to promote her latest film Hancock making an appearance at the German premiere held at the CineStar movie theater at Sony Center Potsdamer Platz. Theron looked hot in her sleek ankle boots which were worn with her interesting asymmetrical Christian Lacroix dress from the Fall 2008 collection.



Earlier in the day, Charlize was seen leaving a press conference channeling an indie rock look, wearing a pair of gold-studded black booties and a Gucci dress worn with a studded belt.

Straight off the runway: Anne Hathaway

Get Smart actress, Anne Hathaway made a guest appearance on the The Tonight Show With Jay Leno a couple of days ago to promote her movie. Looking back at the pictures of Hathaway at the Get Smart premiere, i hadn't realized that she had cut her hair! I'm still undecided on whether i like it long or short. Hathaway wears a red strapless Erin Featherston dress from the designers Fall 2008 collection topped off with gold heels and bracelet. Keira Knightley was spotted leaving the BBC buildings in London on Tuesday. The Atonement actress made an appearance at Radio One studios in central London to promote her latest film The Edge of Love, which also stars Sienna Miller. Singer and actress Zooey Deschanel attended the premiere of her latest flick The Happening at the the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York last week. On set style: Bride Wars

Recenty we have been spotting Kate hudson and Anne Hathaway busy on set shooting thier latest film Bride Wars. The movie follows best friends (Kate and Anne), who become rivals when they schedule their respective weddings on the same day, thus competing in just about every way imaginable. Bride Wars is being directed by Gary Winick and scheduled to hit theaters in 2009.

Fashion Faceoff: Who wore Marc Jacobs better?

Kate Moss was recently spotted arriving back to her hotel in Berlin, Germany after leaving her party at Watergate Club last week. The British supermodel donned a Marc Jacobs crystal embroidered dress from the designers Pre-Fall 2008 collection which was worn with a black clutch and T-bar pumps.

Actress Selma Blair was also photographed wearing the same dress back February where she attended the Marc Jacobs Fall 2008 fashion show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at the New York State Armory in New York City. Blair accessorised with a pair of Marc Jacobs heels and a snake skin clutch.
