Straight off the runway: 'The Women' Premiere

Debra Messing is all class in a baby doll Oscar de la Renta dress from the designer's 2009 Resort collection. Messing finished off her look with Platinum by Niel Lane jewels and a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Photobucket

Eva Mendes still manages to look sexy in such a modest dress. Here the Calvin Klein model wears a black and white printed Bill Blass frock worn with DSQUARED2 pumps. I lovee the dress, but the Amy Whinehouse inspired hair do is unfortunately a no no for me.

Photobucket

Jada Pinkett Smith looks flawless in a gunmetal Zac Posen strapless gown. I love the beaded detail put into the dress and Smith looks absolutely stunning.

Photobucket

The beautiful Meg Ryan kept it simple in an elegant Valentino gown from the Fall 2008 collection.

Actress Lindsay Price takes some time off from her Lipstick Jungle duties to attend the 6119 Maurice & Ilana Sunderland Spring 2009 Presentation at The Glass Houses on Thursday in New York City. Price looked fabulous in a bright red Peter Som summer dress which she wore with her fabulous YSL sandals. With the success of Lipstick Jungle i wouldn't be suprised if Price is to be attending many more fashion shows during Fashion Week!

Straight off the runway: Rachel Evan Wood

Evan Rachel Wood is currently in Italy promoting her latest film The Wrestler during the 65th Venice Film Festival. I've always admired Wood's fashion sense as she usuallyopts for unusual pieces and makes it her own on the red carpet. Wood attended the The Wrestler photocall at the Piazzale del Casino in Venice on Friday looking very stripped in a Lanvin frock from the Fall 2008 collection. As 'jail worthy' as it looks, i love it on Wood, she wears it much better than the runway model.

Straight off the runway: Anne Hathaway

The Get Smart actress continues to promote her latest film Rachel Getting Married during the 65th Venice Film Festival. Hathaway looked enchanting as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Rachel Getting Married in her absoultey stunning Atelier Versace gown. After Theron's shimmering Atelier Versace i didn't think anything would be able to top it off, however Hathaway has a strong chance. The detailed ruffles and coloring is just amazing!

Photobucket

Later on the night, Hathaway made a quick change to attend the Rachel Getting Married After Party at the Luna Baglioni Hotel. Hathaway donned a simple one shouldered Versace dress from the Fall 2008 collection.

Lilly Allen makes a grand entrance in a beautiful Dolce and Gabbana gown from the designers fall 2008 collection. Where i am in love with the dress, it just doesn't suit Allen, perhaps its the fake tan?

Photobucket

Thandie Newton covers the most popular trends of last season season, florals and artistic brush stroke prints. I love the colour combination and her heels!

Photobucket

Daisy Lowe looks all grown up in this sexy Giles black gown, which is a modification from the Fall 2008 collection. It looks lovely, but i prefer the runway version.

Photobucket

Liz Hurley shows off her amazing figure in a black Versace mini dress which is also a modification from the Spring 2007 collection.

Straight off the runway: Thandie Newton

It has been a while since Thandie Newton has hit the red carpet, making this event all the more exciting. Newton looked gorgeous in a daringly cut Jasmine Di Milo fall 2008 dress on the arrival to the world premiere of her latest film RocknRolla at Odeon West End on Monday night in London. To be honest, i didn't think much of this dress when i saw it on the runway but Newton gives it so much more on the red carpet with her silver Casadei sandals and Lara Bohinc earrings.

Straight off the runway: Natalie Portman

Where i did appreicate the innovation that was show cased in Rodarte's Fall 2008 collection, i didn't think that it would be a success on the red carpet. However, Natalie Portman proves me wrong, doning a knitted piece from the collection. Portman really does bring the dress to life and i love her pom pomp heels!

Straight off the runway: Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron has been busy promoting her latest film The Burning Plain in Italy, and of course she is doing it in style. Theron can do no wrong when it comes to the wardrobe department. Last week on Friday, Theron spent the day promoting the film making two wardrobe changes.

Photobucket

Looking bright in a pink Versace dress from the label's Resort collection at the photocall for The Burning Plain at the 2008 Venice Film Festival. Theron accessorised with a pair of sexy Roger Vivier heels and Bulgari jewels. As much as i love her dress i love her shoes more!

Photobucket

Making a quick change into this stunning Versace gown (my eyes practically popped out of my sockets) to the Premiere of The Burning Plain Film for the 65th Venice Film Festival which was held at the Sala Grande. The detail to the gown is just so exquisite and detailed that you really must stop and take it all in.

Straight off the runway: Valentino : The Last Emperor' Screening

Famed fashion designer Valentino made his first red carpet debut to the screening of documentary Valentino, The Last Emperor, which follows his 45 year fashion career. It was no surprise that many devotees of the high fashion label attended the event which was held overlooking the Grand Canal.

Photobucket

Diane Kruger looks amazing as usua,l channeling a Grecian look in a one shouldered Valentino Spring 2007 Couture gown.

Photobucket

Eva Herzigova works the lace trend in a white Valentino Spring 2007 Couture strapless gown. I must say this gown looks so much more better on Herzigova than it does on the model.

Photobucket

Miss Claire Danes went for an unusual choice in this Valentino Spring 2008 Couture cocktail dress and she wears it with so well. She really does stand out from the rest.

Photobucket

Charlize Theron did not wear Valentino but opted for a rich purple Gucci dress from the Fall 2008 collection.

Photobucket

Liz Hurley reminded me of a modern day Cleopatra in this stunning champagne coloured gown. A very daring choice with the plunging neckline but if anyone can get away with it than it would be no other than Hurley.

Natalia Vodianova was a bit more modest in her white gown, that had a beautiful trail.

Straight off the runway: Maria Sharapova

Oh my my. Maria Sharapova looks like she left her other sleeve at home. Sharapova took some time off from her tennis duties to attend the unveiling of the new Canon PowerShot Diamond Collection at Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport in New York City last Wednesday. Yes, the one shoulder trend is in, but this is one shoulder is a bit too extreme, it looks very 80's don't you think? If the sleeve wasn't missing, this Lanvin dress would have looked stunning.

Straight off the runway: "The Hills" Season 4 Premiere Party Live From Malibu

This could possibly be the last season for the reality girls of The Hills. With that in mind, the premiere party went out with a bang and was aired live from Malibu. All of the ladies looked fabulous wearing dresses from Roberto Cavalli to Herve Leger. Suprisingly, Lauren Conrad looks very un Lauren Conrad in a silk Maxi dress from Roberto Cavalli's Spring 2008 collection, i like this chic boho look on her. Audrina Patridge glowed in a turqouise Julia Clancey halter and opted for messy beach hair. Heidi Montag, whose style i don't usually like, actually looked gorgeous in a figure hugging Herve Leger bandage mini dress.
