Fashion faceoff: Who wore Chanel better?

The perfect LBD. The lacey Chanel number seems to be a classic must among celebrities as both Ali Larter and Claudia Schiffer were photographed sporting the same dress.

Larter wore the Chanel dress to the 33rd Annual American Women in Radio & Television's Gracie Allen Awards. The Heroes actress complimented the dress with her YSL star detail sandals and minimum jewelery. I think she looks good, but there's something missing, the dress should really should be a jaw dropper, but it's a bit plain for m on Larter. Perhaps a clutch or unique jewelry would have added the wow factor in.

Uber model, Claudia Schiffer was photographed wearing the same frock last year back in November as she attended the Dom Perigon Party hosted in Paris. Schiffer kept to the straps of the dress, which i thought was a wise move, and accessorised with a simple black clutch and heels. She looks stunning, her porcelain skin goes well with the lace dress.

Overall, Claudia has my vote, being a supermodel she does have the advantage, but i think the straps on the dress made quite a difference.

ID that dress: Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys attended the premiere of We Are Together at the Director’s Guild of America in New York City tonight. The critically acclaimed documentary chronicling the lives of the Agape orphans in South Africa portrays how the children use music to overcome hardship. Keys posed on the red carpet in a strapless Nicole Miller gown. The dress is amazing, the tan on the other hand, no so great.

Mischa Barton attended Saks Fifth Avenues' Evening To Benefit The Work of Charity: Water event which was held at Saks Fifth Avenue yesterday. Straight off the runway: Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson stepped out for the night to celebrate her partnership with David Babaii for their new hair care line 'David Babaii for WildAid' at ABC Carpet and Home yesterday in New York City. Hudson stopped by the Late Night Show with Conan O’Brien to promote the product which is an innovative new brand of professional haircare products and styling tools that are are free of sulfates, parabens, animal products and animal testing. A percentage of the revenue from the line will benefit the global wildlife conservation organization WildAid.

Hudson donned an unusual Zac Posen dress from the designers 2009 Resort collection, which mind you, was only presented last week (the benefits of being an A-lister celebrity). The dress is very unusual, and on anyone else would probably look horrible, however, Hudson works it really well.

Kate hudson was spotted leaving NBC Studios after making a special guest appearance on the Late Night with Conan O’Brien show on Monday. Hudson is currently filming her new film, Bride Wars, which also stars Anne Hathway. So far, the costume design is fantastic, I'll do a post on that later though. The Happening is an apocalyptic film written, co-produced and directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, The Village, Lady in the Water). Make sure t check out The Happening which hits the screens on June the 13th and stars Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo.
