What were they wearing? Sex and the City: The Movie World Premiere

Photobucket

It's about time. Finally the much anticipated movie of the year has arrived! Sex and the City: The Movie held its world premiere at the Odeon Leicester Square on Monday in London, England. I have to admit this is probably the red carpet event in which i have been waiting for, mainly to see what the girls would wear. Unfortunately the movie doesn't release here in Australia until June the 5th, which is really disappointing but so far there has been some rave reviews on the radio.

Sarah Jessica Parker just wowed everyone in her green number. My mouth literally dropped when i saw her in the apple green Alexander McQueen frock. Someone who has played Carrie Bradshaw for so long can only get away with a hat like that. In case your wondering the garden inspired head piece is designed by Philip Treacy.

Kim Cattrall is a vision in red in an asymmetrical stripped Vivienne Westwood dress. I love the dress but i probably would have picked a more interesting choice in shoes. Can u believe she is 51 years old??? With a body like that its too hard to believe.

Kristin Davis seems to have the same wardrobe as Charlotte off screen, which is a good thing of course. The classic beauty chose a vintage Guy Laroche Haute Couture raspberry chiffon cocktail dress. Davis looks absolutely stunning and the overall outfit really is timeless.

Cynthia Nixon is smoking in her low cut Calvin Klein gown. Nixon's gown is probably my favorite after SJP's. The overall look is just fantastic on her creamy skin and bright orange hair. She looks beautiful and i think the metallic sheen to the black fabric gives it a bit of ompf.

I agree. Carrie tended to wear costume like outfits from time to time. That is what made me start watching the show. I wanted to to see what Carrie would be wearing but then I got hooked on the story line. I cant wait for the movie!
